London Lites
Not to be confused with London Loves! This digital media company has been displaying Song Machine ads all over the UK capital. Would be fun to see these in person, but alas, I’m on the other side of the pond…
More Momentary Momentz
We saw more keyframes this week, this time of Noodle and 2D enjoying some momentary bliss…

Gorillaz… now on Tik Tok!
Gorillaz announced on the 11th that they would be joining yet another social media platform – Tiktok:
This announcement was met with disappointment from some fans, but at the end of the day, it’s probably a smart marketing move on Gorillaz’ part, since Tik Tok reportedly has more monthly users than Twitter or Snapchat…
Here are the two videos we saw this week:
2D doesn’t have a bad bone in his body… really?
Fanart
I really enjoyed the fan art I saw this week. Here were a few of my faves:
Vinyl Rewind…and a Drink Recipe!
An amazing analysis on the meaning behind Demon Days came out this week from Vinyl Rewind. A lot of thought went into this video, and with Demon Days being my personal favorite Gorillaz record, I appreciate the insight and research that went into this:
And that’s not all! As if the 40 minute review wasn’t enough, Vinyl Rewind also posted the recipe to a Demon Days style cocktail…
Jamion at Work
Based on Jamie’s now deleted instagram post below, it *seems* like we might be getting a new episode of Song Machine this week. Perhaps this Thursday?

Maybe the Slowthai drama from this week is forcing the Gorillaz team to kick it into high gear a week early…

Reject False Icons is now on VIMEO! Thank you Denholm!
This is good news: sound quality is higher and we can watch the video in 4k. Plus, the documentary seems to be yet a slightly different cut, being 2 minutes longer than the Youtube version.
