Gorillaz News: Tuesday, December 1, 2020

A small but mighty roundup. This week:

Happy 20th, Gorillaz!

Tomorrow Comes Today was originally released on November 27, 2000, marking this past week the official 20th anniversary of Gorillaz!

On a personal note, I hadn’t discovered Gorillaz until November of 2001, after seeing the music video to Clint Eastwood on MTV, hanging out at my best friend’s house. So in a way, this is my 19th anniversary of being hooked on Gorillaz. It’s insane that this many years later, I still get as giddy and excited over this band as I did when I was 13.

As we know, the first Gorillaz Almanac is being released in celebration of this 20th anniversary. Here is the first review of the Almanac (if you can call it that!) A reminder that Almanacs begin shipping as of tomorrow.

Enjoy some fan art celebrating the 20th year of Gorillaz!
