During the Phase 3 days, users on the Gorillaz website could navigate the world of Plastic Beach through a point-and-click experience, similar to Kong Studios. On Plastic Beach, there were tons of hidden treasures and funny encounters, including the one I’m posting below for #throwbackthursday.
Jamie and Damon both lended their voices to the characters of Seagull and Pelican, two beach bums who also called Plastic Beach their home. In this scenario, Jamie’s character, Pelican, swallowed a spanner (a wrench) and users were supposed to find a way to get it out (so you could then use the spanner in yet another puzzle).
